Psychometrics Today provides educational self-assessments. It does not provide medical advice, psychological diagnosis, treatment, or a therapeutic relationship. No result constitutes a diagnosis, and no part of this site should be used to decide whether to start, stop or change any treatment or medication.
Screening questionnaires are designed to indicate whether something merits professional attention. They cannot establish what is causing it. Only a qualified professional who can assess your history and circumstances can do that.

Intended users
These instruments were validated on adults and are intended for people aged 18 and over. They are provided for personal understanding and education.
Clinicians and researchers may use them within their own professional judgement and their own governing obligations. Doing so does not create any relationship with us, and we make no warranty that any implementation matches a specific published scoring manual. Themethodology is documented precisely so it can be verified before relying on it.
Accuracy
We work hard to transcribe instruments faithfully, score them correctly, and cite every claim. We cannot guarantee the site is free of error, and it is provided as-is without warranty. Where we discover a mistake we correct it and say so. Please report anything wrong.
Instrument rights
Instruments are published only where they are public domain or their authors permit free reproduction, and remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers.The full register is public. Our own writing, including explanations, interpretation and code, may be reused with attribution.
Automated bulk reproduction of this site's content for commercial purposes is not permitted, in part because it would breach the terms under which some instruments are made available to us.
